What are your operating hours?
Delaware Street Bakery is open from 8 AM to 6 PM for pickup, typically Tuesday through Friday. Baking happens when the dough is ready and the dough is always right! We’re closed on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Holiday hours may vary, so please call or check our website for specific information on those dates.

How long does it take to make my order?
From start (making the dough) to finish (order pickup) is typically 24-36 hours. Sourdough takes time to develop flavor and texture. An early start means your Order could be complete by end of day.
Do you have vegetarian, vegan, or other special dietary options?
Yes. Basic sourdough bread is normally vegan as it contains flour, water, and salt. There are other options such as low sodium, seeds, flavorings, and a gluten-free option. If you have other dietary requirements, please inform your server, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
How easy is pickup?
Once an Order is placed, communication with the baker starts with a text messaging letting you know the Order will be ready at a projected time and date. As that time nears, additional text messaging provides directions to the pickup area where the Baker brings your Order to your car so no parking is required!!
